suitable candidate to fill our open part-time post of Client Care Agent.

Primary Role: To provide comprehensive administrative support to the staff of Bright Life Family Centre.
​

The Perfect Candidate will have:

Prior experience in a similar administrative role along with some form of administrative certification

Ability to respond appropriately in emergency and crisis situations

Ability to make independent decisions within established guidelines and reporting structure​

Respect for the confidentiality of administration, staff, clients, and the organization
-
Ability to Communicate sensitive information to staff, clients, and community or partners as required
-
Basic accounting skills to learn and adhere to the position's accounting needs including, but not limited to, purchasing procedures, budget allocations, and spreadsheets

Modern professional secretarial skills to produce work in a timely fashion, properly formatted and presented
-
Maintain a calm professional environment during times when interruptions, disruptions, and a stressful environment interfere with the flow of work

Superb use of the English language both written and verbally
-
Ability to be flexible in accepting assignments from Director with deadlines and to prioritize multiple tasks from staff, ensuring timely completion

Knowledge of general office practices and procedures

The capability of operating computers and accompanying programs (for Windows & MAC OS)
-
Knowledge of Waves App Accounting would be an asset.

Responsibilities & Daily Tasks May Include:
​

Providing direct support to the Director, other Counsellors & Programme Team Leads.

Managing all accounting and accounts record-keeping procedures, staff payroll, and office supply ordering.

Managing client data, bookings, and staff case-loads in the centre’s filing, database and information systems.

Managing the reception area
-
Providing in-person, email, and telephone customer service and correspondence to all current and potential clients and guests of the centre.

Daily tasks such as: sending memos and reminders; creating/updating documentation such as: technical and professional reports, newsletters, booklets, manuals, guides, schedules and forms; editing task lists
-
Providing logistical and events support to programmes and initiatives done by the Centre.

May be requested to attend meetings or events outside of normal office hours for administrative purposes.
